TOPIC: YOUR GOD HAS BEEN WITH YOU.

TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 2:1-25
KEY VERSE: "These forty years the Lord your God has been with you, and you have not lack anything." (Vs. 7b)

SUMMARY
For forty years God was leading his people, Israelites and his leading was not aimless, for he showed them his faithful even to the descendants of Esau and Lot. The Lord revealed himself as their faithful provider, all Israel must do is to trust the Lord, believe in his blessing and obey him so that they will not experience what the previous generation experienced and were consequently destroyed in the wilderness. To take possession of their land, they are to trust God and engage in the battle, only then would they see the Lord's presence among them.

APPLICATION
All human race on earth are constantly engaging in one battle or the other on daily basis, but what makes the difference for God's children is his presence among us as we trust in his presence with us, he reveals himself to us as our faithful God, giving us victory over all our battles and blessing us as he has promised. He did same for Joseph, Daniel, the three Hebrew boys, David, the Apostles and he will do same for us only if we will trust him as they do.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to trust in your presence in the battles of life that I may know you more in Jesus' Name, Amen.
