THE WISE AND THE FOOL.

TOPIC: THE WISE AND THE FOOL.

TEXT: PROVERBS 10:1-18.
KEY VERSE: "Blessings crown the head of the righteous, but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked." (Vs. 6).
In today's passage, the wise King Solomon gave a very great comparison of the wise and the fool. The wise (the righteous) receives the blessings as their crown, they were diligent, they accept God 's commands and walk in integrity securely, but the fools (the wicked) rejects God's wisdom and come to ruin. The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but the mouth of the wicked harms others. The wise heeds discipline, but the fool ignores correction. The fear of the Lord makes us wise.
APPLICATION
From the above text, we see the wise (the righteous) and the fool (the wicked) compared. It is then up to me to choose which path I want to follow, either to live as wise, one that is as righteous before God and according to Isaiah 3:10, all will be well with me, but for the fool, the wicked fellow, reverse is the case destruction is their lot, Isaiah 3:11.
PRAYER: Lord, you are the living God who recognizes the wise, but judges the fool. Let me live before you as a wise son all the days of my life in Jesus' name.
FURTHER READING: ISAIAH 3: 10-11.
ONE WORD: GOD BLESSES THE RIGHTEOUS.
