TOPIC: INCREASE OUR LOVE, STRENGTHEN OUR HEART.
TEXT: 1 THESSALONIANS 3:1-13.KEY VERSE: "May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones." (Vs. 13)
SUMMARY
Apostle Paul had taught the spiritual young believers in Thessalonica that persecution and suffering would always accompany their new faith in Christ. Persecution from a hostile world is inevitable for true Christians. The Thessalonians were full of faith and love. The Lord had helped them to stand firm in their faith. Paul prayed for God to meet their needs, for their love to increase and for their hearts to be strengthened. His hope was for them to be holy and blameless at Jesus' return.
APPLICATION
True Christianity can not be separated from persecution (John 16:33, 2 Timothy 3:12), but with the word of God powerful working in our hearts daily (1 John 2:12-14), strengthening our love and faith in God, we will intimately lay hold of the victory already won for us by our Lord and saviour, Jesus Christ as we stand in holiness and without blemish before our God on the day of Christ's return.

PRAYER: Lord, help me not to be afraid of persecution, but to stand firm in faith, daily increasing in my faith and love for you and your kingdom in Jesus' Name, Amen.
ONE WORD: TO BE HOLY AND BLAMELESS WHEN JESUS RETURNS.
